My son is currently trying a second ADHD medication in the past month. We have been told that the new "moodiness" and his unexplained crying spells are a side effect of his ADHD medication. This is a very frusterating for both our son and us. This is the second medication for his ADHD that has caused this unexplained crying in our seven year old son. His grades have gone from F's to A's in a matter of weeks. We are extremely pleased with his improved concentration. Has anyone else experienced these type of side effects with their child's ADHD medication? Did they improve with time? Any suggestions? Thank you.
