I'm on a low dose of SNRI Serzone right now. (100mg, split morning and evening). I think it's helped with depression but not at all with anger and anxiety
I went and got my medical exams and heart tests done after episodes of heart skipping, hyperventilating, etc. so the doctors have concluded I have an anxiety disorder.
My last experience with Xanax (several weeks ago, and I was not yet on the serzone) -- it certainly got rid of the anger and anxiety but I think the dosage was too high (1mg at morning and another 1 mg a bed)--I slept like a log for four hours one Saturday afternoon and my two children ran amok through the neighborhood. I'd like to try .5 in morning and maybe none at night, I can usually sleep fine thanks to my exhaustion with the two kids.

Now I do have a weight gain problem with SSRIs and it's continuing with the Serzone. Also, I'm not as "bright" mentally on the Serzone. A friend of mine takes Wellbutrin and Celexa regularly and Xanax as needed and she is "functional" -- and thin. The Wellbutrin sharpened her mentally from her viewpoint.

I don't know if Wellbutrin mixes well with an "SNRI" such as Serzone. I am going to ask my medical doctor for a combination of Serzone/Wellbutrin/Xanax (I don't like pure SSRIs because sex is difficult or nonexistant when I'm on them.) What do you know about a combination of these three drugs? Thanks for being there!

Xanax interacts with Serzone. It is not usually recommended to take the two together.

Lorazepam is almost the same drug without the interaction. The combination of Serzone and Wellbutrin is OK. Just Wellbtrin (with or without the lorazepam) is also worth considering.
