exaggerated worryI was recently diagnosed with an IBS disorder. They said that they weren't sure but almost possitive it was caused by a anxiety disorder called exaggerated worry. They really haven't given me any medications or treatment options. Sense exaggerated Worry interferes with a person's neurotransmitters can it cause mood swings? Also I'd like to know of any treatments or excersises I can do to help my symptoms, any advice?
Re: exaggerated worryMany times medications such as tri cylic antidepressants, SSRI's, antianxiety medication are prescribed as an adjunct to GI regime. Some people find attending a stress management course useful. i would ask your doctor for a regime or a referral to a GI specialist.
