Thanks for the advice. I would prefer to avoid regular use of the benzos until I have tried other options. I don't want to switch from Celexa because I have certainly benefited and all the side effects disappeated a while ago, I don't really want to risk losing the benefits, particularly during a switch. What about combining with Buspar? I don't mind adding a drug, actually it is preferable to switching the antidepressant entirely. Is there any evidence that adding Buspar might be beneficial?

Also, one reason I don't use the benzos much is my Klonopin makes me sleepy. Does that usually wear off with regular use?

Any other options in addition to using benzos?

Buspar is a good agent with some disadvantages. You have to push the dose to 30 to 60 mg to get the best effect. It takes a while to work. The experience with it as an augmenter for depression is only so/so. On the other hand, it has relatively few side effects and can work.
