Rivotril, Klonopin, Generic?Dr.,
I am meeting with my GP tomorrow to discuss what to do about my Celexa headaches, and want to discuss clonazepam with him because if I have to stop this medication and start a new anti-depressant, I will need something in the interim to get me through and want to avoid using more Xanax (I have had this condition for 6 months now and although my company has been extremely understanding, they pay me a six figure salary and I can't expect them to tolerate sub-optimal performance much longer as I am having difficulties staying focused, particularly during my frequent traveling). I know you (and many others prefer clonazepam for various reasons, all of which make perfect sense. What is the difference between the two listed brands (Rivotril and Klonopin), and which does the Generic emulate? Is there any reason to insist on brand over generic? Thanks as always, you have been a world of help.
Re: Rivotril, Klonopin, Generic?I know of no reason to insist on brand name over generic. I have notheard of Rivotril. But clonzepam is the only active ingredient in clonazepam.
