Autistic Spectrum Disorder

Post a new topicby Ellie on Mon Aug 06, 2007 7:12 am

I have a 3yr old with poss.ASD,Aspergers.I find it so difficult sometimes dealing with her behavouir, tantrums, and constant energy/hyperactivity.At the age of 9months,she had a tantrum i'd of expected a 2yr old to ofhad. It was this that made me think somethin mitebe wrong. She has good verbal language, and seems v.Intelligent.Routine v.Important toher, and communication onher terms is sometimes bizarre, but understandable. She appears to have hypersensitivity, touch, visual and sound esp.We are waiting for a diagnosis at mo,as her paediatrician feels she 2young to give a definite yes or no autism diagnosis.

You might want to consider taking your daughter to a children's hospital that specializes in these disorders, good luck

the earlier you can get treatment the better...did her behaviour change after a vaccination?
Perhaps consider chelation and HBOT plus dietary changes - i have seen so any children improve their behaviour with these.

keep on pestering the docs cause our son is only two and a half and has already been diagnosed as definately Autistic, our main help came from the Health visitor believe it or not as i kept on and on at her for ages till Kyle was put through for screening.
