Bipolar Disorder

her life is falling apart.
off her meds.
doctor wont see her anymore
lost custody of her child.
im wondering if there is anyone who can help me to understand how to talk to her and
help her see that she needs inpatient treatment.
this masters degree social worker is a tuff cookie.
she is slipping away, sleeping in her car.
too impulsive to have her in my home with my kids.
do we let her keep going.
im afraid she'll be dead
she manipulates the system she knows so well she can get out of an exparte and be smoking a joint in less than three hours
i dont want her to die

Its so hard to watch a loved one slowly destroy themself.It sounds like you tried your darndest to help her .If she is a danger to herself or others you can do something.Otherwise there is nothing much you can do.Just try to keep the line of communication open,which can be difficult at times.
