Hello Steve, My prayers are with you and your wife. I want you to know that you’re not alone. At age 31 my left side of my abdomen, from my groin up to above my kidney, looked to be higher than the right side while lying on my back. After a month or two I went to the doctor and was told my kidney shut down and that they needed to remove it.
