Anxiety and depression frequently coexist. In fact, almost all depressed people are anxious. Anxious people are at greater risk to develop than the regular population. It is not unusual to have a three steps forward one step back type of improvement. It may take a month or two to fully evaluate the effects of an antidepressant such as Wellbutrin. Don't give up. Your doctor can work with you to optimize response.
