Dear doc,
i underwent an episode of depression for which i was treated with psychotherapy and i have recovered. However, ten months from then i am having a strange notion. Thoughts keep reverbating in my mind. i read somewhere that, that could be a symptom of schizophrenia. Is their an online test which i can take to find out if thats the case. Can the two illness occur together.

I know of no online test. You could look at the DSM criteria available on this site and others. You could make an appointment with whoever was treating you for depression and discuss the diagnosis. It is rare that Schizophrenia presents in the way you are saying, but the two illnesses certainly can occur together.
