Re: DepressionIf I understand your question, I would say that there are many ways of fighting depression other than taking medication and would refer you to the article on out site. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been shown to be very effective.
There are many ways to fight stress from changing the situation to meditation.
It should be noted that medications are very effective and that is why they are frequently recommended.
Depression tends to run in families and that may be why some people are more succeptible.
