Help

Post a new topicby Guest on Thu Sep 12, 2002 4:55 pm

I have been diagnosed w/Major Depressive Disorder along with PTSD back in May of 02. I have finally returned to college after quite awhile and I can't seem to relax as much as I would like since I feel like if I don't do enough then I won't succeed at my goal. I know that I want a 3.5GPA, but I don't know how to handle some of the stress. I do take Paxil Cr (50mg) a day and it works unbelievably....I still have a lot to do to continue to grow mentally and physically, so I just hoped you might have a little advise for me.

thank you,

The standard advise is to not bite off more than you can chew. Keep up with your work and keep up with your sleep. Take your meds regularly. Stay away from drugs and alcohol, as the Cat in the Hat says "It's fun to have fun but you have to know how." Good luck.
