side effects and recurring depression ?

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon May 27, 2002 6:00 pm

I was diagnosed with major depression last November. I started out and am taking 20 mg of Prozac. An attempt to increase the dosage did not help. In February, I started having sleeping problems again and was prescribed 50 mg(?) Trazodone at bedtime for help in sleeping. That seemed to help and I was starting to feel really good. In the middle of April, my depression seemed to take another dive (to a very low point) and I was put on Wellbutrin 150 SR in addition to the other two.

Two questions:
1) Is this all the same depression or more than one episode?
2) I was having slight tremors with the Prozac, now quite prominent with the Well. Is this normal? Thanks...Elaine

1) Probably the same episode
2) Common side effect of this combination.

I hope that things are going better for you now and you can try and enjoy the summer.
