What will others perceive?

Post a new topicby Guest on Wed May 29, 2002 4:22 am

Dear doc,
I have just come to know that I have depression and will soon seek professional help. In the past few weeks I have been feeling increasingly that I am going crazy. This feeling I now know is a part of my depression My question is that when will others begin to perceive or notice a behavioral change in me and begin to think that their is something wrong with me. Will they see me as a person gone mad or turned into a lunatic?

Usually people with depression are not perceived as being "lunatic" or "crazy". They are seen as struggling through some hard times.
