Differential Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis requires distinguishing OCD from other psychiatric disorders. The following psychiatric disorders feature symptoms that may, at first, resemble OCD include the following:

Other anxiety disorders
Eating disorders
Alcoholism or other substance-related disorders
Tourette's syndrome
