My friend is definately showing signs of OCD he is married. He does have a medical condition that has been developing over the last 3 years. It is medically proven he has something wrong. However, over this time-frame he has seen MANY doctor, his condition relates to his throat area. The condition causes his throat to be irritated, which I believe it is.
