Re: zyprexia

My psychiatrist prescribed 2 1/2 mg of zyprexia for me to take at bedtime for panic disorder. I also take 1.5 mg of xanax a day in three divided doses. He prescribed zyprexia as a mood stabilizer. Zyprexia is an antipsychotic and the side effects terrify me. When I volunteered at NAMI there were a few people who took it and their hands shook. Does anyone here take it? Do you have any side effects? The side effects listed are snakelike movements of the tongue, memory loss, jerky movements, the body's inability to regulate temperature, etc. I will appreciate any responses. Thank you.
