is very weird, I sound crazy even to myself, here's story. My fish is sick a condition called "dropsy", causes his body gills to swell up his scales to protrude grossly at a 90 degree angle. When I saw him in condition, I went into a spasmic attack. I got chills made me break out in goose bumps, my heart beat very rapidly, my muscles started twitching, I had trouble breathing. Worse, image of his scales protruding on his swollen body magnifies elf in my mind haunts me throughout day into night, causing my body to continually twitch chill in response. My heart starts racing, I also feel itchy uncomtable all over...I can't get image out of my mind! It has gotten so bad, I have to cry myself to sleep. is wrong me?? Is some kind of phobia?? Please help me...I don't know else to do! I am a 21-year-old college student, in good health, no psychological history.

It is hard to assess this over the net. If this reaction is still present, I would see someone at student health. It does sound like some anxiety related condition. I would think that there could be a variety of interventions that might be effective both behavioral and medication.
