My daughter's left eye has been twitching for two years this month and we have yet to get any answers we have been to every neurologist in the tampa bay area and now traveling to miami to specialist down there it took 6 months for a diagnose of blepharospasms or hemi facial spasms but the meds and botax did nothing the botax only moved the twicth to her nose and then after aweek right back to the eye we are currenty waiting to do yet another test an emg and more meds. and another emg to see if anything has changed. she is very frusterated last clocked time of her eye 109 blinks per min. she had to drop out of school (she did manage to get her ged with her graduating class 2006

Sounds like a tough situation, I am sorry I do not have any answers for you it sounds like further testing at another institution is a good idea. Good luck to the both of you
